Michael E. Scarsella

Mr. Scarsella is Managing Partner of Wade & Clark Wine Imports LLC and oversees marketing and brand management.  Mr. Scarsella is also currently the owner of River Valley Wine Cellars, which he founded in July 2006.  River Valley Wine Cellars is an environmentally controlled and secure storage facility for the preservation of fine wine for both short term and long term storage.  River Valley Wine Cellars serves individual collectors, importers, distributors, restaurants and retailers.

Mr. Scarsella was formerly a Vice President and Director of Forrest Solutions, a privately owned human resources firm based in New York from March 1997 to December 2001. While at Forrest Solutions, Mr. Scarsella’s principal business activities included developing strategic marketing and sales plans, directing a team of sales and marketing professionals, leading the firms outsourcing and alternative workplace consulting businesses, which included negotiating contracts with company executives and implementing outsourced sites.  In addition, Mr. Scarsella was a member of the firm’s executive committee.

Mr. Scarsella held a number of sales and executive sales positions with Lexis-Nexis, the electronic publishing group of Reed Elsevier, PLC.  From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Scarsella, as a sales representative and sales manager, directed the sales and marketing activities targeted to the top 100 US law firms.  In 1997, Mr. Scarsella was selected as one of seven individuals out of 1,500 applicants to participate in an executive management program for those employees deemed to be the future executives of Lexis-Nexis.  From January 2002 to February 2004, Mr. Scarsella held the position of Global Sales Director.  In this position, Mr. Scarsella managed a group of sales and marketing professionals from the United States, Europe and Asia that managed the top 25 largest global financial and professional service firms.  These firms generated in excess of $39 million in revenue annually.  Mr. Scarsella reported to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales.

Mr. Scarsella formed M & S Shipping, LLC in February 2004 for the purpose of owning and operating retail services businesses under a franchise of The UPS Store.  The UPS Storeis targeted to the needs of businesses of all size, small office/home office workers and busy consumers who are looking for timesaving services such as packaging and shipping services, mail and parcel receiving, and a wide range of other authorized products and services. M & S Shipping, LLC grew into one of the top 150 The UPS Stores in the world and was sold to UPS in April 2006.

Mr. Scarsella received his B.A. in History and Economics from Cortland State University in 1984.  Michael Scarsella resides in Briarcliff Manor, New York.  Mr. Scarsella is married and has two children.
